Crafting

Crafting- Skill points and feats must be chosen to craft. There are two types of crafting: 1. changing appearance and 2. crafting new items.

1. Right click your character. Then click special abilities. Then click crafting skills. This will pull up a menu allowing you to change the appearance of some items.

2. Crafting- You can only craft on crafted items. For example, longsword +1 purchased from store. No, you cannot craft on this item. You must create/craft a longsword. Then you craft it again to add properties.

Please note: if you attempt to craft a non-crafted item, you will get the same menu options from "crafting: 1" above.

Crafting 2 cont.- Right click your person/special abilities/wizard (or whatever your class is)/more special abilities/examine recipe and craft item/craft item - then use the mouse to click your person. This will bring up a menu listing the base items that you can craft. **You must craft a basic item first before you can add magical properties to it.

All crafting will require a skill check, the appropriate feat (there are multiple), and the memorized spell in your spell menu. If you do not have an option to craft a specific item, it is because you do not have the feat required. If you do not have the option to craft the item (it says "next"), you either need to memorize the spell required or you need to raise the value of the item first through a lesser crafting. For example, you want to craft a +6 sword. You need to craft a +5 before you have the option to do so (yes, you will also need the feat, for +6 weapon, this might be 3 feats).

Optional: You can take feats that reduce the cost of crafting.

Good luck
